Orla welcomes commissions of any scale and size, and is happy to work with you to create a piece tailored to your ideas, space or project.
The commission process starts with a conversation either over email or phone call, to discuss ideas, size, medium and quote. Once approved, initial sketches will be made to explore colour, composition and direction, before completing the final piece.
Orla has worked on a range of commissions; from paintings on canvas, paper and wooden panel for public and private collections, to textile wall hangings, to albums, digital artwork and murals.
If you would like to commission a painting for a friend or loved one, I can offer gift cards tailored to your price point. This allows them to be part of the commission process, giving them the input to guide colour and art direction.
